Step beyond lessons and experience the excitement of competition with our Show Team program. At Brandi’s Equestrian Riding Academy, we give riders the opportunity to grow their skills, build confidence, and showcase their progress in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Our riders participate in local horse shows where they learn not only how to compete, but also how to prepare, present, and perform as true equestrians.

Horse shows help riders overcome nerves, set goals, and celebrate personal achievements.
Be part of a positive, encouraging group where riders support each other and grow together.
Learn how to groom, tack, and present your horse to competition standards while understanding show etiquette.
Develop balance, control, and precision in the arena while receiving guidance tailored to your level.
Our Show Team is open to riders who are consistently taking lessons and ready to take the next step in their riding journey. Instructor approval ensures each rider is prepared for a safe and successful experience.
Horse shows are more than just competition. They teach discipline, responsibility, and partnership with the horse. Riders gain real-world experience that accelerates their growth both in and out of the saddle.
Lower-level horse shows are designed for beginner to early intermediate riders. These shows focus on learning, confidence, and positive experience rather than high-level competition. Riders are introduced to the show environment in a supportive and encouraging way.
Riders may be ready to show when they:
Can safely control their horse at a walk and trot (and sometimes canter)
Understand basic arena patterns and directions
Show responsibility in grooming and tacking up (with help if needed)
Demonstrate good listening skills and sportsmanship
Your instructor will always help guide when the timing is right.
